Three officials of a barangay in Abdullah Sangki, Maguindanao del Sur were seriously injured after they were shot by an assailant on Thursday, who also happened to escape.

In a report by Efren Yunting Mamac on GMA Regional TV One Mindanao on Friday, it was said that the victims were the barangay chief Edris Sangki, a kagawad, and the treasurer of Barangay Kaya-Kaya.
They were immediately rushed to the hospital, while the assailants escaped.
According to police investigation, the three victims were riding two motorcycles when they were shot by the assailants who were riding in a minivan.

Investigators found seven empty bullet casings from an undetermined caliber of gun at the scene of the shooting.
Authorities are still investigating the motive for the crime and the identities of the assailants.
In an earlier report, a family is in deep grief after their 59-year-old father was killed when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a pickup truck in Pasay City while he was going to work.
In a report by Darlene Cay on GMA News 24 Oras on Thursday, it was said that the incident occurred at the intersection of Bayshore Avenue and Diokno Boulevard in Pasay City on Sunday morning.
“Yung nabanga yung tatay ko, tinatawagan siya ng pinsan ko. Tapos enforcer po pala ‘yun, sabi nadisgrasya yung tatay ko. Tinawagan din ako ng pinsan ko, kaya pumunta po ako doon agad. Na-shock po ako, hindi ko alam yung gagawin ko,” according to the victim’s son.

GMA Regional News shared a CCTV footage from an establishment nearby captured the incident. In the footage, one can see the motorcycle carrying the rider, a woman and a child traversing the designated motorcycle lane. All of a sudden, a dog crossed their path, sending all three of them tumbling down with one narrowly missed by the tires of a passing SUV.
