In a dangerous turn of events, the officer attempting to intercept the tricycle was struck by the vehicle, resulting in an injury to his right leg. The officer sustained a strain or sprain as a result of the impact.
General Fajardo strongly condemned the tricycle driver's actions, labeling it as a direct affront to law enforcement and a disruption of public order.
She emphasized the importance of these checkpoints in maintaining security and ensuring a peaceful environment, especially during the election period.
