A woman with four arrest warrants was arrested for theft in Quezon City and Manila.

The operative served the arrest warrant on the 55-year-old woman for the theft case at the Project 6 Police Station in Quezon City.

On December 18, the woman was still in jail there after she was arrested on the basis of an arrest warrant in the same case.

In the police investigation, it was found that she had four arrest warrants in Quezon City and Manila.

"Nitong January 4 ay meron na namang lumabas na warrant of arrest na galing pa ng RTC ng Maynila. ‘Yung pang-apat ay nitong February ay nai-serve din natin sa kanya," said Police Lieutenant Colonel Roldante Sarmiento, the station commander of Project 6 Police.

According to the police, the woman is tenth on their most wanted persons list. It is said that some malls are the ones usually robbed by the suspect.

"Sa pagkakaalam namin ay nag-iisa lang siya o solo na lumalakad. At ang kanyang modus kapag nahuhuli siya ay nagpapalit siya o nag-iiba ng details ng kanyang pagkatao. Halimbawa, ibang pangalan na naman gagamitin niya," added Sarmiento.

This is not the first time the woman has been imprisoned.

In 2016 and 2018 she was arrested for theft, while in 2017 it was in a drug-related case. She admitted that she steals bags from malls.

"Okay lang po para matapos na po ito para wala na po akong kaso. Mga bag po sa mall [ang ninakaw]. Nakaugalian ko na po," said the woman who was arrested.
