Akbayan Party-list Rep. Perci Cendaña called out Dela Rosa yesterday for threatening physical harm simply because he criticized Duterte for trivializing her impeachment by the House of Representatives.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Cendaña, a first-term representative and Akbayan's second nominee for the upcoming May 12 elections, condemned Duterte's remarks, where she joked that being dumped by a lover was worse than being impeached. "It is more hurtful to get dumped by your boyfriend or girlfriend than to be impeached by the House of Representatives," Duterte said at a press conference.
“Gusto kong sabihin kay P Sara, 'teh hindi ito usapin ng jowaan, usapin to g public accountability at pananagutan.’” Cendaña said in Filipino.

Dela Rosa, a known Duterte ally seeking reelection, responded aggressively on Facebook, saying he would "knock up" Cendaña's face.
"'Yang mukha mo, sinapak ng 'di natin alam' kaya ngiwi. Lumapit ka nga dito kasi sasapakit kita a kabilang mukha mo para balance."
Cendaña, however, remained composed and responded on social media.
“Mhie, sasapakin daw ako ng isang senador? Ang 'tapang' naman ni koya. Sana ganyan din siya katapang laban sa China sa WPS at sa pagharap sa ICC. O baka naman iiyak na naman siya ng crocodile tears at kakaripas ng takbo, gaya ng pagtakbo niya noon sa hawak niyang paputok?”
Cendaña also clarified that the droop on his face was the result of a stroke he suffered years ago, News 5 reported.
