A rider who was flagged down by an RTA officer in Cagayan De Oro City, assaulted two officers.

The rider counter-flowed on a road, and an officer was on duty at the time, and who upon seeing the violation immediately flagged him down.
Based on the footage shared by GMA News, one could see that as the officer was trying to issue a ticket, the driver alighted from his motorcycle and unleashed a series of jabs towards the apprehending officer.
Thereafter, another RTA officer came to help his fellow, which led to a fistfight in the middle of the road.

The woman, backriding on the motorcycle of the rider, even tried to stop him, but to no avail.
As they reached the other side of the road, one could see that the raucous has already caught the attention of police officers.
Two policemen then ran to the scene to offer help and de-escalate the situation.
