Meanwhile, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, there has been a reported infestation of saltwater crocodile in the area.
They already sought help from the provincial LGU about the issue.
Saltwater crocodiles don’t usually hunt people, but they can be very dangerous if they feel threatened or if someone enters their territory.
They are large, strong predators with powerful jaws, and they can attack quickly without warning.
Most attacks happen when people get too close to the water where crocodiles live, especially in rivers, swamps, and coastal areas.
Crocodiles may see humans as a threat or even as prey, especially if the person is swimming or fishing near them.
To stay safe, it’s important to avoid areas known to have crocodiles and always be cautious near the water in places where they live.
