A mother and her 3-year-old child, who were living in a tent, were found dead in Brgy. Balud, San Fernando, Cebu.

According to the report of Balitambayan, the authorities suspect that the cause of death was insecticide poisoning.

When they were found, the little one was on the back of his mother.

Authorities brought the child to the hospital, but was declared dead on arrival.

They also found a sachet of insecticide near the area.

Authorities were also recommending that the family would have the bodies of the victims autopsied.
