22-anyos na babaeng naglalakad, sinunggaban ng lalaki na tila wala raw balak na magnakaw

- A 22-year-old woman was attacked by an unknown man in Barangay 152, Caloocan City

- CCTV footage showed the woman walking at around 7:00PM while using her mobile phone

- Then from out of nowhere, a man jumped at him, and appeared to be undressing her by force

- The woman's bag and cellphone fell to ground but the attacker didn't bother getting them and continued to attack the girl

Thankfully, an off-duty barangay patrolman was nearby and called out the man to stop him. They also tried to chase the suspect who eventually escaped.

The victim went to the barangay hall and police station to report the incident.

In an interview by GMA 7's program 'Balitanghali,' PCPT. Mikko Arellano of Bagong Barrio Police Substation Commander said CCTV footage, eye witnesses, and the victim herself said the suspect tried to destroy her dress by force.

Arellano added when the woman fell down, the man jumped at her, and wanted to take advantage of her.

According to their investigation, the victim and suspect don't know each other. They also added they have already identified the suspect who is now hiding.

Once captured, he will be charged with acts of lasciviousness, physical injuries, and sexual harrassment.
