In a live broadcast via ABS-CBN, the senator urged the passenger of the SUV to reveal himself or herself because the 24 senators are being judged by the public. He also said that he knows that it was a relative of a senator, but the senator was not the one in the vehicle at the time of the incident. The senator then outlined the sequence of events regarding the alleged true passenger of the white SUV.
