Three young schoolgirls lost their lives after being struck by a cargo truck in San Fernando, Bukidnon.

According to GMA Regional TV, police stated the girls were walking along the roadside on their way to school.

Suddenly, the cargo truck came and hit them.

Reports revealed the victims were only five, seven, and nine years old.

Meanwhile, the truck driver fled the crime scene and abandoned the huge vehicle. However, he eventually surrendered himself to the police but refused to issue any statement about the incident.

In an interview with 24-Oras, one of the suspects admitted the victim was strangled and had a cellophane wrapped around his face. Afterward, the killed businessman was put inside a water drum and buried in San Jose Del Monte. It's the same kidnap-slay crime committed against Ruby Rose Barrameda in 2007 and as it turned out, the alleged mastermind behind the two crimes was believed to be the same person.
