- An internal medicine male doctor was assaulted by a male driver along Roxas Boulevard service road in Manila

- A video showed a man relentlessly throwing punches at another male driver while another man was trying to stop the assailant

- In a report by 'Unang Balita' of GMA 7, the brother of the victim said the doctor was about to go to work in a hospital in Quezon City when the incident happened

- According to him, the traffic flow was a little heavy when the suspect hit the rear part of his brother's car

The suspect reportedly gave P1,000 for the damage, but the victim didn't accept it since the amount wasn't enough to repair the damage done to his car.

That's when the argument started, and the suspect went violent. Additionally, the companion of the suspect introduced himself as the son of a retired high-ranking official of the Philippine Coast Guard.

Thankfully, police happened to be patrolling near the area. The suspect was arrested and brought to Ermita Police Station.

The brother of the suspect also added that the suspect reeked of alcohol, but this has not yet been confirmed by police.
