A 55-year-old vendor from Bacolod City lost his life after being hit on the head.

CCTV footage showed a woman standing outside an establishment when the man behind her suddenly collapsed, hitting his head on the ground.

In a report by GMA 7's 'Unang Balita,' police investigations revealed that the man was struck with a wooden weapon by a barker (a person who helps call passengers for public transport).

Authorities stated that the vendor and the barker had a disagreement, likely over a parking issue.

The victim was brought to the hospital but eventually died because of a traumatic head injury.

Meanwhile, the suspect who fled the crime scene is still at large.
