In can be recalled the Philippine News Agency (PNA) reported that the Slovenian male suspect, identified as Mitja Kocjančič, allegedly beat his Pinay wife, Marvil Facturan-Kocjančič, causing her untimely demise.

The incident allegedly happened on December 29 of last year while the couple were on a holiday vacation in Bled, Slovenia.

In the video, one can see the couple inside a car happily singing along with the music being played inside the vehicle.

Mitja appeared to be driving the car while Marvil was seated in the passenger seat beside him.

Both of them were smiling in the video and appeared to be in high spirits at the time.

The case has drawn widespread condemnation from the Filipino community abroad.

It can be recalled that news about the killing of the Filipina by her Slovenian husband only a few days after Christmas has drawn widespread condemnation from Filipinos. The Commission on Filipino Overseas (CFO) also condemned the murder of the Filipina. The victim, Marvil Facturan-Kocjančič, was only was 27-year-old at the time of her death. They were allegedly having their holiday vacation in the resort town of Bled on Dec. 29.

Meanwhile in other news, Pacific Palisades resident, John Carr, was thankful that his house survived the Palisades fire. In a report of ABS-CBN, the 65-year-old resident said that the wildfire ripped through the neighborhood. He noted that as the fire began encroaching, he immediately used a hose to tackle spot fires. His efforts paid off because he was able to save his home, which he said was handed down to him by his parents.
