A construction worker was declared dead on arrival after being hit on the head by a large tree that fell at their work site.
In a report by GMA 7's GMA Regional TV in Balitanghali, the worker and his colleagues were on their break when the accident occurred.
Police confirmed there was no foul play involved, stating it was purely an accident.
Meanwhile, the company where the man worked has taken full responsibility for the incident.
