DENR FB Story, pinagkaguluhan ng maraming netizens: “face reveal Mother Earth”

A recent post of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources on its Facebook Stories caught many by surprise.
Some enterprising netizens immediately took a screenshot of the said post and shared it online, where it eventually spread like wildfire.
The screenshot, which was posted on the “Random Thoughts” Facebook page, has since gone viral with 74K reacts, 510 comments, and 3.3K shares.
The “Random Thoughts” page’s author said there’s a lesson to be learned and that is to double check before posting an FB Story.

Other netizens immediately joined in the fun, with many of them throwing witty remarks at the post.

It wasn’t clear when was the FB Story posted or who was the woman in the mirror, though the date of “Random Thoughts” post was January 3, 2025 at around noontime.
It also wasn’t clear if DENR has issued a statement regarding the said post, though based on some netizens’ comments, it must have been posted by accident.
News, photos or videos that arouse the interest of netizens would often go viral on social media, due to the attention netizens give them. These viral posts appeal to the emotions of netizens, and in rare cases, such could also happen to ordinary people, making them very relatable.

She told Yaya Lotlot this while the entire family, including two househelps, were on vacation in Hong Kong. Yaya Lotlot was beside herself with joy when she heard her boss say those words to her.
