A 25-year-old man in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, was shot by his own father after he tried to intervene in the fight between the suspect and his wife.

According to ABS-CBN News, the victim tried to stop the fight, but eventually, got caught up in it.

Worse, the suspect shot the victim several times on the body, causing his death.

According to the report, the suspect was a retired member of the Philippine army.

Prior to shooting his son, he even allegedly burned the clothes of his wife.
