A fisherman was rescued by the crew of a fishing vessel on Christmas Day after spending 9 days adrift in the ocean.
In a report by TV 5's, 'Frontline Pilipinas Weekend,' he was fishing near Boracay Island when his fishing boat’s engine broke down on December 17.
He was carried by the water current near Tubbataha Reef in Palawan, where he eventually ran out of food and water.
After being rescued, his rescuers provided him with food and clothing.

He was taken to the nearest Coast Guard Station. Thankfully, he was already back home with his family.
