Three grade school children from Tumauini, Isabela, tragically drowned in a river.

In a report by GMA Regional TV in GMA 7's 'Balitanghali', authorities reported that classes in the area were suspended due to bad weather conditions.

Despite this, the kids, aged eight to ten, decided to swim in the Cagayan River, where they were swept away by the strong current.

Their bodies were recovered the next day during a retrieval operation.
