Authorities reported that the crime occurred after the suspect and the victim drank together.
In an interview with Bea Pinlac of GMA 7's 'Balitanghali,' the suspect claimed they had a "mutual understanding."
It was also revealed that the suspect is married with two children, while the victim is a single mother.

The alleged suspect claimed they both wanted what happened.
“Sabi niya sa akin, may gusto po siya sa akin. Matagal na. Tagal na pong may gusto sa’kin ‘yung babaeng ‘yun,” he said.
