A 60-year-old man, leading a group of individuals in Laguna, was arrested for allegedly using gravel and sand as front products while engaging in illegal drug activities.
The group was caught in a police operation by the Philippine National Police - Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG), where they appeared to be busy with their regular work but were actually selling illegal substances.
The authorities confiscated over 10 million pesos worth of drugs during the operation. Police confirmed the suspects were involved in selling illegal substances in the province and surrounding areas.
In an interview by Jon Consulta of GMA 7's '24 Oras,' PLT. Dhame Malang, PDEG's spokesperson, said the suspects conduct their transactions through various messaging applications and seal the deal by actually selling their illegal products inside their compound.
