Willie Ong, a well-known doctor in the Philippines, has shared the "miracle" he experienced while battling cancer and getting treatment for it.
On Monday, November 25, Willie took to his official Facebook account to pen a lengthy message about how he has been faring up these days.

He first began by extending his apologies for not being able to post online for a month, revealing that his health condition actually worsened.
"Una sa lahat, pasensya na at hindi ako nakapag-post ng 1 buwan. Ang katotohanan ay naging malala ang kondisyon ko (platelet 12,000, white blood cell of 0.5 and hemoglobin of 9.6). Mahabang kuwento ito. Sobrang hirap nito pero dahil sa tunay na milagro ng Diyos, mas okay na ako konti," he wrote.

Despite the alarming news, Willie informed everyone that the size of his lump continues to decrease as per his recent PET scan results.
He then told his followers what his doctor, Ang Peng Tiam, had told him about the miracle regarding his health condition and his journey.
"Bakit ako nag-post ngayon? Ito ay dahil nasabihan ako ng doktor ko, si Dr Ang Peng Tiam (Parkway Cancer Center SG) na wala pa raw sya nakikitang case tulad ko na GUMALING sa sarcoma stage 4. Isang TUNAY NA MILAGRO ang nangyayari daw sa akin. Ngayon lang sinabi ito ni Dr Ang," Willie informed his followers online.

Born on October 24. In 1963, Dr. Willie Ong was a cardiologist and consultant for the Department of Health from 2010 to 2014. He graduated from the De La Salle University College of Medicine in 1992 and earned his Master's in Public Health degree from the University of the Philippines Manila in 2002. He ran for vice president in the 2022 Elections.
As previously reported by KAMI, Doc Willie Ong finally filed his COC for senator in the 2025 elections. However, given his health condition, he couldn't file his certificate of candidacy personally. Instead, his COC was officially filed by his wife, Dr. Liza Ong. It can be recalled that Doc Willie Ong recently revealed that he has abdominal cancer.
Meanwhile, Doc Wille Ong revealed that he is battling abdominal cancer. A day after the announcement, the cardiologist penned a lengthy and meaningful post about his condition. Although he considers himself fortunate because he receives good medical care, he still feels downhearted that many Filipino patients can never avail of such treatment.
