A 75-year-old man was pronounced dead on the spot after being involved in a hit-and-run incident twice.

Relatives of the victim said he was on his way to collect newspapers to sell when the tragedy occurred.

CCTV footage showed the senior citizen crossing Ortigas Avenue Extension in Cainta, Rizal, when he was struck by an L300 van, followed by another private vehicle.

Both drivers fled the scene without stopping to check on the victim.

In an interview by ABS-CBN News, the daughter of the victim wants nothing but immediate justice for the untimely death of her father.

Authorities are also urging eyewitnesses to help them in the investigation.
