Two friends, who were on their way to a birthday party were stabbed by two suspects.
According to the report of ABS-CBN, one of them died, while the other was wounded.
The one who died was identified as 29-year-old Frederick Encabo, who sustained a wound on the chest.
Police Major Henry Villagonzalo described the incident as "napagtripan."

"Iyong si Frederick Encabo na nakasakay sa motor papunta sa birthday party tapos bigla na lang naharang sila ng mga suspek natin… at bigla na lang silang pinagsasaksak. Kumbaga, napagtripan sila," he said Villagonzalo.
"Bale nakasakay po sa motor ito [ang mga biktima] at naingayan po ‘yung mga suspek natin tapos napagtripan nga po," he further narrated.
The suspect, based on the accounts of the barangay had previous cases involving illegal substances.
They were also residents of the barangay.

Meanwhile, some Naga City residents, in a video shared by GMA News, already need to go to houses with a third floor to escape floodwaters. In the video, one can see some residents of Brgy. Traingulo in Naga City going to their neighbors’ houses that have third floors. According to one resident, they helped some of their neighbors by inviting them to stay in the third floor of their house. Floodwaters brought about by Typhoon Kristine have submerged the second floor of some of the houses in Albay.
