Rolando Orfano, a man from Guinobatan, Albay lost his family, particularly his wife, child and mother due to a landslide.
Based on the report of GMA News, the family was about to sleep when the house collapsed due to a landslide.
In an interview, Rolando said that he tried to save them, but there was no longer anything that he could do.
"Bigla na lang sumabog ang wall, bagsak talaga sa mag-ina ko.Tapos tumakbo pa ako para sila iligtas, pero wala na talaga."

Traingulo in Naga City going to their neighbors’ houses that have third floors. According to one resident, they helped some of their neighbors by inviting them to stay in the third floor of their house. Floodwaters brought about by Typhoon Kristine have submerged the second floor of some of the houses in Albay.
