A man was injured after allegedly being hit by a stray bullet along a section of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) in Marilao, Bulacan, on Sunday night.

According to the victim's family, he was on his way back to Metro Manila when the incident occurred.

A bullet slug was removed from his head.
