“One day you will realize that material things mean nothing. All that matters is the well-being of the people in your life,” the post reads.
Leslie shared the post as she and her family mourn the passing of Lerms and Arvin Lulu, the couple who died after being shot in Pampanga by a riding-in-tandem.
Lerms Lulu, a popular online seller, and her husband Arvin Lulu, were killed in a broad daylight ambush in Pampanga on October 4. Lerms, whose real name is Lerma Waje Lulu, is one of the top distributors of Brilliant Skin Essentials, a rising cosmetic brand. A total of seven alleged suspects in the killing were arrested in two-day operations from October 13 to 14.
The son of slain couple Lerms and Arvin Lulu is a godchild of the alleged mastermind, Anthony Limon. According to a report on 24 Oras of GMA News, the online seller couple would be "kumare" and "kumpare" of the mastermind. The police officer also said that there was an alleged P13 million loan made by the alleged mastermind from the couple. The alleged mastermind, along with six other suspects were arrested by police officers.
Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil shared a statement on Arvin and Lerms Lulu’s case. It can be recalled that the police arrested the suspects in the killing in two-day operations from Oct. 13 to 14. In a report by PNA, Marbil commended the Central Luzon Police for its swift action on the couple's murder. He also emphasized PNP's commitment to protecting the public and ensuring justice for all victims of violence.
