- According to her mom, Kriezel Navarro, after complaining about the pain, she vomited and the worse was when her eyes simply shot up

- The child lost consciousness and they took her to the hospital, and found out that a vein already ruptured in her brain

- Her mom was considering too much use of cellphone, although the doctor said that there has no proof yet that this can cause a nerve to rupture

Based on the account of the mother, Kriezel, in GMA Public Affairs, they were sleeping when the little girl suddenly cried and said that her forehead was in pain.

Thereafter, the mother narrated that the girl was already slumping, and vomited.

While the mother was thinking that perhaps it was too much cellphone that caused the vein to rupture, Dr. Anabelle Alcarde, Chief of Neurosurgery Department at East Avenue Medical Center said that there is no proof that cellphone usage could cause the brain to rupture.

In another viral story reported by KAMI, a gasoline boy was chopped in the face with a machete when a customer whom he called out got mad at him. The suspect allegedly asked for his motorcycle tank to be fully filled, however, he only paid ₱50. In a CCTV footage, the rider parked his motorcycle on one side of the gasoline station, took out a machete from his utility box, and swung it right in the face of the gasoline boy. Thankfully, the suspect was caught by a security guard, and the victim was quickly taken to the hospital and is now recovering from the wound.
