Sen. Bato dela Roasa has just released a statement to the press regarding the claims made by retired colonel Royina Garma during th Quadcom hearing, particularly on the war on drugs of former President Rodrigo Duterte.

"I have no idea about that reward system. During my time as the chief of PNP, I did not engage in a reward system because I had no funds for that. The only reward system in the PNP is the DIL-approved list of most wanted persons. I did not believe in a system because it is the sworn duty of every policeman to keep his area of responsibility free from drugs."

Sen. Bato dela Roasa has just released a statement to the press regarding the claims made by retired colonel Royina Garma during the Quadcom hearing, particularly on the war on drugs of former President Rodrigo Duterte.

Garma claimed that there was a reward for police officers who were involved in the killing of drug suspects. They were allegedly compensated for every killed suspect, operational expenses and planned operations.

The retired police colonel also said that she allegedly had a meeting with the former president, where the latter tasked her to look for a PNP officer, a member of the INC, who would be capable of replicating the Davao model of the war on drugs, but on a national scale.

Sen. Bato dela Rosa is a politician and former Chief of the Philippine National Police.
