A dragnet operation against the assassins involved in the killing of Lerms Lulu and Arvin Lulu has been launched by the police.

It can be recalled that Lerms Lulu, a popular online seller whose real name is Lerma Waje Lulu, and her husband and business partner, Arvin, were killed in a broad daylight ambush in Barangay Santo Rosario in Mexico, Pampanga.

In a report by Rappler, it stated that the local police have issued a flash alarm and also launched dragnet operations against the killers across nearby towns.

It also revealed that authorities are currently checking CCTV footages for possible leads as to the identity of the perpetrators.

There were also speculations about the Facebook post made by the online seller two days before the ambush.

It a report by Manila Bulletin, the couple were rushed to the hospital after they were ambushed and shot, though both were declared dead on arrival.

Their seven-year-old son who was with them at the time of the incident survived the ambush.

In her post, she flexed the dish she cooked for lunch, "sinigang na ulo at pata ng baboy." The popular online seller even was in high spirits as she invited everyone to partake of it. Hours after her last post, news of her demise and that of her husband's went viral, as she and her husband were gunned down by two men, in their car in Pampanga.

The couple's untimely demise is being mourned by close friends and netizens alike. Among their close friends who mourned their death is Leo Ortiz, the CEO of Rising Dragon Beauty and Wellness Corporation. In a post on social media, Leo expressed his love for the couple whom he said he’s known for many years. The Rising Dragon Beauty and Wellness CEO also said they were unable to sleep well last night because of what happened to two of his close friends.
