The Grade 1 student who accidentally hit her head on a table inside their school classroom has died.
The incident, which happened in the in the Comara T. Manuel Central 1 Elementary School Sped Center in Lupon, Davao Oriental, has caught the attention of many netizens.
In an exclusive interview of Brigada Mati with the victim’s mom, she said that she asked permission from the teacher to bring her daughter home after the accident.
The mom also alleged during the interview that her six-year-old daughter was accidentally pushed by one of her classmates, causing her to hit her head on the table.

She also said that upon arriving home, the six-year-old victim complained of feeling pain in her head and asked if she might sleep and rest for a while, but as soon as she woke up, she immediately vomited.
The Brigada Mati report also disclosed that the victim’s teacher went to her home the following morning and upon learning about the vomiting, she asked the family to bring the kid to the hospital.
After arriving at the Mission Hospital in Tagum City, physicians their supposedly advised the family to transfer the victim to the Regional Hospital because of her critical condition.
During this time, the victim had slipped into a coma and remained so for several days until her death.
Despite what happened, the victims parents are not blaming the teacher with what happened to their child, particularly so that said educator was all hands in helping the family from check-up to hospital expenses up to the funeral of the six-year-old.
For now, the family is asking for financial assistance for the burial of their child, given that the salary of the victim’s father as a maintenance personnel in a Mall could not cover the necessary expenses.
