A 40-year-old man was nabbed and detained by authorities after he was accused by his own mother of sexual assault.

The incident happened in the town of Candijay in the province of Bohol.

In a report by GMA News, the suspect’s mother claimed that her son first sexually assaulted her when she was still 40 years old and he was 20 back then.

The second assault happened just last September 27 of this year.

In a statement, Candijay Police Station chief, Police Captain Albert Sator, said that the 61-year-old mother couldn’t bear anymore the abuses committed by her son against her.

In a report by BomboRadyo, the mother also revealed to the authorities that her son threated to kill her if she reports the incident.

According to the 61-year-old mother, her son, who was apparently drunk after attending a funeral vigil, lied beside her then hugged her and after which, he had intercourse with her.

In a report by SunStar, the 40-year-old man asked for forgiveness and claimed he couldn’t control himself because he was in love with his 61-year-old mother.
