Based on the report of Nico Waje on Saksi, the Vietnamese was robbed and assaulted inside the car, which she booked using a ride-hailing app on Sept. 5 at around 4 a.m.

The Southern Police District (SPD), speaking through SPD Public Information Office chief Police Major Hazel Asilo, said that the victim was driven in circles before an accomplice of the driver hopped in.

The victim was held with a knife, robbed, and thereafter assaulted by the companion of the driver.

The driver and his companion were arrested.
