Mugshots ni Ptr. Apollo Quiboloy, ibinahagi na ng PNP

- The Philippine National Police (PNP) has released the mugshots of Ptr. Apollo Quibolo of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC)

- GMA News shared the photos of the religious leader

- He was holding the ID board in the photos, where his name was blurred out but the case filed was not

- On the board, one could see that the religious leader was charged with a violation of Sec. 10 of RA 7610 or the Child Abuse Law

The mugshots of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy of the KOJC were released by the PNP.

GMA News shared the mugshots of Ptr. Quiboloy, with blurred face and also the name part of the ID board.

It showed that he was charged under Section 10 (A) of RA 7610, otherwise known as the Child Abuse Law.

The religious leader surrendered to authorities more than a week after a search of the KOJC cathedral in Davao City ensued.

Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy’s lawyer, Atty. Israelito Torreon, has issued a statement as regards the surrender of the preacher yesterday, September 8, 2024.

In a video posted on SMNI News socmed page, Atty. Torreon said Pastor Quiboloy “decided to submit himself to the folds of the law” because he can’t bear to see that the rights of his followers are already “being trampled upon.”

Apollo Carreon Quiboloy is a church leader in the Philippines. He is the leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. He has made claims that he is "The Appointed Son of God" as well as being "The Owner of the Universe".

In an earlier update, DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos posted about Pastor Quiboloy. In his post, Sec. Abalos posted a photo of the preacher along with the caption "Nahuli na si Pastor Quiboloy!"

In a statement later by the Philippine National Police, the PNP Spokesperson, PCol. Jean Fajardo, said Pastor Apollo Quiboloy surrendered after the PNP allegedly gave him a 24-hour ultimatum to turn himself in. She also said that negotiations of the PNP and AFP began around 1:30 in the afternoon last Sunday. After his surrender, the preacher was brought to Camp Crame for processing.
