The mother of Chloe San Jose, Maria Fe San Jose or "Marie," speaking through her lawyer, Atty. James Mark Padrones Ciudadano, reached out to Manila Bulletin's Balita to air her side in an exclusive interview.

One of the issues she addressed was the one regarding her profession, where rumors on social media painted her as an OFW or a laundrywoman, and even alleged that she was imprisoned.
Atty. Ciudadano said that all those were not true.
He said that Marie is an Australian citizen and she works at the "Aged Care Services."

In the same interview, he also narrated how Chloe, presently a content creator and the girlfriend of Olympic champ Carlos Yulo, came to live in Australia.
The content creator, in a report by Inquirer, recently spoke up about claims that she “disrespected” Carlos’ mom, Angelica Poquiz Yulo.

He gained international recognition for his performances in various competitions, particularly in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He also bagged and brought back two gold medals from the Olympics.
In an exclusive interview with Manila Bulletin's Balita, Chloe’s mom, Maria Fe San Jose, broke her silence about the alleged issues between her and the content creator. Speaking through her legal counsel, Atty. James Mark Padrones Ciudadano, she clarified some of the issues that have been floated about her and her daughter Chloe. Her lawyer said Chloe’s biological mom has decided to break her silence because her family and some of her kids were already getting affected by the accusations hurled towards Chloe. Maria Fe, speaking through Atty. Ciudadano, confirmed some of the issues but also debunked other matters and declared them as false narratives.
Chloe has also shared in a statement on social media that her mother tried to talk to Carlos Yulo's mom, Angelica Yulo, to resolve their issues. The content creator did not say whether or not she was referring to her biological mother. In her statement that she posted online, she expressed wonder why her replies were shared without proper context. Likewise, she expressed frustration over Angelica's refusal to resolve matters despite attempts to communicate. Also, she shared that her mother personally flew from Australia to Manila to speak with Angelica, but the situation remained unresolved.
