Her name has been the subject of many online memes since then.

According to GMA's report, the dismissed Bamban mayor arrived in the said country almost a month after her alleged departure from the Philippines. Earlier, Mayor Guo released an official statement following an order for her arrest by the senate. The suspended Bamban mayor cited "severe exhaustion" and "trauma" as the reasons why she has not attended the two senate hearings. She also addressed Senators Win Gatchalian and Risa Hontiveros in her statement, even asking if she was the country's biggest problem.
