A policeman was arrested and is now facing murder charges after he shot his girlfriend on the face while having drinks.

According to reports, the suspect and his girlfriend had an argument, and there was jealousy involved.

“Noong una, nag-inuman sila. Palagay natin na parang okay pa. Pero noong under the influence na sila ng alak, doon na nagtalo at doon narinig ng witness na may pagseselos at pagtatalo,” said Captain Hazel Tuazon, Davao City Police Office spokesperson.

Julla Angela Daculiat, a nursing student at Bukidnon State University, immediately came to the boy's aid. Daculia performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the boy, and it took about seven minutes before the kid regained consciousness.
