A tragic news has swept the internet after an 11-month-old baby from Taguig City has passed away at the hands of their own father.

In GMA's Unang Ronda, the father of the 11-month-old baby killed their own child and then took their own life after doing the said crime.

"Nag-text itong lalaki doon sa babae na 'Kapag hindi ka bumalik, papatayin ko itong bata," Police Major Cherrylyn Agtarap, PIO recounted.

According to the brother of the father, the latter was jailed for the illegal use of drugs back then.

During this time, the mother allegedly had someone else already and even let them stay in the house, which the mother denied as well.

Apparently, the father has already threatened the mother that he would kill their child, but the mother dismissed it as false threats.
