GMA Network has stirred social media buzz after releasing a statement regarding an alleged incident that has been circulating online.

On Tuesday, July 30, GMA Network published a photo post that contained their official statement regarding the alleged incident.

According to GMA, they are aware that online articles and posts have been circulating on social media about an alleged incident recently.

The said incident allegedly involves an artist and independent contractors of GMA Network.

In their post, GMA said they have yet to receive a formal complaint from those allegedly involved.

"Online articles and posts have recently circulated regarding an alleged incident involving an artist and independent contractors of GMA Network. We have yet to receive a formal complaint from those allegedly involved in the issue. Should one be filed, the Network is committed to conducting a thorough and impartial investigation.We assure the public that GMA Network takes such matters with utmost seriousness," they wrote.

GMA Network is a Philippine television and radio that is home to several famous Kapuso stars and celebrities in the country including Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Heart Evangelista, and others.

As previously reported by KAMI, Nadine Samonte, a Filipina celebrity, finally spoke up about the GMA Gala. Previously, Nadine was allegedly 'snubbed' at the event, when no seat was prepared for her. Following this news, Nadine addressed the news and said it has to end now. She also thanked GMA and Sparkle for reaching out to her regarding the matter.
