A dog trainer has earned the praises of the online community after he saved 40 dogs that were under his care.
ABS-CBN reported that Marikina floodwaters have already entered the first floor of the dog training school.
So he brought the dogs one by one to the second floor to ensure their safety.
The dog trainer is Alvin Labaris, who is more popularly called as Winsol, and he saved the dogs on that fateful night when Carina hit the hardest.

In a video, he addressed dog owners that the dogs are free.
He also ensured everyone that even if rescuers would be arriving, he would not be leaving the dogs behind.
"Kahit may dumating na rescuer dito, Ma'am, hindi ko iiwanan mga aso n'yo dito. Na-trap po kami dito sa pagliligtas ng mga aso, Ma'am, hanggang sa hindi na po kami nakalabas kasi lumaki na po ang tubig," he narrated to ABS-CBN.
News, photos or videos that arouse the interest of netizens would often go viral on social media. These viral posts appeal to the emotions of netizens, and in rare cases, such could also happen to ordinary people.
The severe and widespread flooding brought about by typhoon Carina did not spare even the iconic PBB house, which many refer to as "Bahay Ni Kuya." A heavy downpour caused massive flooding in various areas in the metro. In a video shared on social media, one can see water seeping into the bedroom of PBB housemates. Other parts of Metro Manila suffered worst case flooding, with floodwaters reaching up to the roofs of some houses.
Earlier in the day, typhoon Carina claimed one of its first casualties in a barangay in Quezon City. A man was swept away by the flood while standing on a small bridge in Barangay Valencia in Quezon City. His lifeless body was later found along the riverbanks of another barangay. It was around five in the morning when the waters on the creek suddenly rose.
