GMA News reported that the urn of one of the bodies that were unearthed at a quarry site in Capas, Tarlac ahs already been brought home by the family.

According to the report, the urn is believed to be carrying the ashes of Geneva Lopez.

In the video posted by GMa News, a light brown Toyota Fortuner could be seen parking outside the funeral home in Tarlac.

A man wearing white could be seen carrying the urn, as he was comign out of a doro of the funeral home.

In an earlier report, the bodies of Geneva Lopez and her boyfriend, Yitzhak Cohen, were alredy decomposing when they were found by authorities with the help of a witness.

Geneva Lopez is a 27-year-old model and beauty queen who was reported missing on June 21, 2024. She was with her boyfriend, 37-year-old Israeli national, Yitzhak Cohen. The two were last seen in Tarlac. On July 6, police authorities say they have found the decomposing bodies of the couple in a quarry site in a faraway barangay in Capas, Tarlac.

Earlier, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) released partial results of the autopsy on the bodies of Geneva Lopez and Yitzhak Cohen. According to the agency, as per the report of GMA News, each of the victims sustained two gunshot wounds. The beauty queen had a wound at the back of the torso, which exited on her chest, and one on the thigh. Her boyfriend had a gunshot wound on the chest and one near the armpit.

Meanwhile, authorities also say they already have in their custody the two persons of interest in the case involving beauty queen Geneva Lopez and her Israeli boyfriend, Yitzak Cohen. It can be recalled that the couple went missing on June 21 after informing relatives they’re going to meet someone for a real estate transaction. After about two weeks of being missing, the bodies of the two were discovered in a quarry site in a quarry site located in a faraway barangay in Capas, Tarlac. Of the two persons of interest who were reportedly former policemen, one of them was the supposed middleman for the real estate transaction.
