Three dead bodies of men were discovered dumped below a bridge in Sogod, Southern Leyte on Wednesday, July 3.

In a recent Unang Hirit’s “Unang Balita” report, the victims were found under Dampoy Bridge in Barangay Olisihan at around 3 p.m. after residents reported a pungent smell.

According to GMA Regional TV, the Southern Leyte Police Provincial Office said the victims were probably between 18 years old and 25 years old.

They were tied with wire around their necks, and their mouths were covered with packaging tape. They also had gunshots in different parts of their bodies.

Authorities also believe that the three men were victims of a summary execution and were killed somewhere else before being dumped in the area. The corpses were set for autopsy.
