The parents of Mark Dave Valdez, the student who was burned and found in Bacnotan, La Union, cried for justice over what happened to their son.

In the video of GMA's One North Central Luzon, the parents of Mark could not fathom why the said crime had to happen to their son, Mark Dave.

According to Emidy and Alfonso, the parents, what they want is justice for their son and a swift course of action over what happened to Mark.

"Hindi ko matanggap ang sinapit ng anak ko, ang bait bait ng anak ko ginanun lang," Emidy, the mother of the victim, tearfully said in the video.

In the video, Alfonso, the father of the victim, also spoke and said tearfully, "Nag-iisa po ang anak ko kaya hindi ko matanggap ang ginawa nila."

As per the report done by GMA Integrated News, the police chose not to disclose the angles they were looking at regarding the heinous crime.

Previously, GMA News also reported that the victim sustained ice pick injuries before being burned and left on the streets by the suspects.

As previously reported by KAMI, a truck driver who was going to urinate was shocked when he saw a burned corpse in La Union. According to a GMA Regional TV on Thursday's episode of "24 Oras," the victim is a 21-year-old man from Pozorrubio, Pangasinan, who was a student in Baguio City. Based on the investigation, the victim told his family on July 1 that he would travel to Baguio.

Meanwhile, another news that has gone viral is that of the husband and wife from Zamboanga del Norte who perished while transporting their dead baby. According to a report, the family was on their way home when the tragic accident happened. The couple was rushed to the hospital but were declared dead on arrival.
