OFW found dead in Manila; jealous partner surrenders

An overseas Filipino worker (OFW), who had just returned to Manila from Kuwait, was found dead in her rented room in Barangay 704, Dakota, Malate, Manila, around 9 PM last night.
Authorities found the 27-year-old woman lying face down.
According to "Frontline sa Umaga," the suspect in the crime is her live-in partner, a 33-year-old man.
The suspect surrendered to the responding police officers after a neighbor witnessed the crime and immediately reported the incident.

He said he strangled the victim, whom he had become jealous of due to the many phone calls she had received on her mobile.
He added that he believed that she was cheating based on messages he read from her phone before the crime.
The suspect is now under police custody and will be charged with murder.
