Lalaking nawalan ng P345k, humingi ng paumanhin sa BDO: "Pasensya na po kayo"

- Gleen Cañete, the man behind the viral P345k video, has apologized to BDO Unibank

- In his latest post, dated June 26, Gleen penned a lengthy message to the said bank

- According to Gleen, he was not paid to delete the video or to apologize to the bank

- The original poster also clarified he deleted the video when he found out his own family was involved

Gleen Cañete, the man behind the viral video where he lost Php 345,000, has spoken up and apologized to BDO Unibank online.

After BDO released a statement stating that the online withdrawals were, in fact, valid, Gleen took to his Facebook page to respond.

At the beginning of his online post, Gleen said it was a "public apology" to BDO regarding his controversial and viral video online.

In his post, Gleen clarified a few things; saying he is not, in anyway, ordered to release such a statement and that he is doing it out of his own accord.

Gleen also clarified that BDO did not pay him to delete his video, and that the video was a product of his immediate reaction and feelings towards the incident.

"Lilinawin ko lang po ang live video kong nag-viral about sa bank account ng anak ko. Manghingi po ako ng paumanhin sa mismong banko, BDO UNIBANK at gusto ko rin po linawin na wala po silang kinalaman sa perang nawala sa account ng anak ko. Hindi po ako binayaran ng BDO para manahimik at i-delete ang aking live video. At wala pong nag-utos sa akin na mag-apologize, kusang loob ko po itong ginawa dahil na realize ko na hindi tama na masyado akong nagpadala sa bugso ng damdamin at lumabas sa social media," he wrote.

According to Gleen, when he found out it was his own family member who withdrew the money, he immediately deleted the live video on social media.

"Sa BDO Unibank, pasensya na po kayo at nagdulot ito ng pangamba sa inyong lahat ang nasabing video kasi hindi ko po napigilang ilahad sa social media ang sakit na naramdaman ko bilang isang tao. Sana maintindihan niyo rin ako at ako'y inyong mapatawad at maibalik ang tiwala niyo sa akin bilang isang ama na nagsikap para sa kanyang anak. Dahil pamilya ko ang na-involved sa insidente, pinili kong manahimik ng ilang araw para makapag isip ng tama. May tiwala po ako sa nasabing banko BDO Unibank at katunayan account holder po nila ako ng mahabang panahon," he wrote.

Meanwhile, a video of a groom feeling faint on his wedding day has gone viral. On Facebook, Our Story Films uploaded the video they took on their official page. Earning over 1.7 million views, netizens flocked to the comments section tagging their friends about Jawie's story. In the video, the groom could be seen getting help from his guests who were trying to wake him up.
