The Department of Education is slowly preparing for the transition to the old school year schedule, where summer vacation of students is in the months of April and May.

In Rappler's report, DepEd already made a minor change in SY 2023-2024, wherein instead of the end of the school year on June 14, it will now be on May 31.
In the succeeding school year 2024-2025, the opening would be on July 29, and would end on May 16, 2025.

The bride and maid of honor were members of the UP Pep Squad, which became champions last 2010 and 2011 during the UAAP cheeardance competition. Photos and videos of the event that were shared online immediately went viral.
