DepEd, inanunsyo paunti-unting pagbabalik dating schedule ng klase; SY 2023-2024, sa May magtatapos

- The Department of Education has announced the slow transition of school classes towards the old schedule

- As per Rappler, DepEd already tweaked the end of classes as a way to start the transitioning

- Instead of ending classes for SY 2023-2024 on June 14, DepEd moved it to May 31

- For SY 2024-2025, the opening of classes would be on July 29 and will end on May 16

The Department of Education is slowly preparing for the transition to the old school year schedule, where summer vacation of students is in the months of April and May.

In Rappler's report, DepEd already made a minor change in SY 2023-2024, wherein instead of the end of the school year on June 14, it will now be on May 31.

In the succeeding school year 2024-2025, the opening would be on July 29, and would end on May 16, 2025.

A couple of years ago, the wedding reception of the bride who used to be a member of a cheerleading team also made rounds on social media. Instead of bouquet, it was the bride and maid of honor were tossed in the air, with the groom among those who tossed them. The bride and maid of honor were members of the UP Pep Squad, which became champions last 2010 and 2011 during the UAAP cheeardance competition. Photos and videos of the event that were shared online immediately went viral.
