Suspek sa pagpaslang sa step-aunt ni Coleen Garcia, huli sa Antipolo

The police arrested a construction worker named Art Villacastin Tondo, for the murder of Canice Minica Seming, step-aunt of actress Coleen Garcia.

According to ABS-CBN News, the suspect used to work for Coleen Garcia’s father as a carpenter.

Tondo entered the house of Garcia’s father and then stabbed Canice Minica Seming a total of 26 times when she arrived home.

According to Tondo, he was trying to find his wife in the house of Garcia’s father. He then attacked Seming when she told him to leave the house. Tondo said that he was intoxicated with alcohol when he committed the heinous crime.

"Nadala ng lasing ko. Dala ng lasing... Hinahanap ko asawa ko doon, eh wala. Bago pa dumatig 'yung biktima nandoon na po ako sa loob ng bahay kasi bukas po 'yung side po nila sa kabilang daanan.

"Nagpa-chat pa ako sa kaniya na paki-chat mo asawa ko.

"Nakuha ko sa loob ng kuwarto, naisaksak ko sa biktima,” Tondo told ABS-CBN News.

In a video report by GMA’s 24 Oras, the police shared clips of Tondo’s arrest. Tondo is now asking for forgiveness from Seming’s family members.

Coleen Garcia is a Filipina actress and host who was previously part of ABS-CBN's variety show, "It's Showtime." She started her show business career at the early age of 2 years old when she appeared in a television commercial with her mother.
