Ptr. Darlyn Galve granted an interview to Radyo Bandera Philippines and she revealed that it was her husband who allegedly saw Jovelyn Galleno on a Toyota Innova.

According to Ptr. Darlyn, her husband mentioned "Parang nakita ko si Darlyn" in their church group chat because at the time, Ptr. Darlyn had a seminar for church leaders.

She also said that she asked her husband several times if he was sure that it was Jovelyn whom he saw.

Ptr. Darlyn said that her husband was very sure by saying, "Sigurado ako siya talaga yun."

She then explained how her husband described the alleged sitting position of Jovelyn while she was in the Innova.

According to her husband, she was sitting straight, not in the relaxed position that is usually apparent among those riding a car.

Jovelyn Galleno is a 22-year-old mall worker in Palawan. She was reported missing on Aug. 5 and according to her sister. The employer of Jovelyn stated that she already logged out around 6:30 p.m. on that day. The sister also stated that Jovelyn even chatted with one of their siblings but she never made it home.

An acquaintance of Jovelyn Galleno from the church allegedly saw the teen riding a Toyota Innova on Aug. 16. This was revealed by Radyo Bandera Philippines, as it was interviewing the kin of Jovelyn. According to the reporter, the said person executed an affidavit and said that he or she saw Jovelyn, aboard an Innova around 3 p.m. on the said date. The reporter also confirmed with the younger sister of Jovelyn if the affidavit reached them.

The siblings of Jovelyn Galleno, during an interview with Radyo Bandera Philippines answered rumors of their being silent on the case of the girl. The one who was interviewed explained that they were just processing their school enrollment. They also noted that the police were already on the case and that they deemed it prudent to let the authorities handle it. However, they explained that they are still focusing on the case of their sister as opposed to their being silent as what the reporters asked about.
