From the said date, viewers can look forward to programs such as FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, Roja, What Lies Beneath, It’s Showtime, ASAP, TV Patrol, and more. At the same time, select prime ABS-CBN shows will continue airing on A2Z, while programs like It’s Showtime and Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab 2.0 continue on GMA.
The agreement comes after TV5 opted to end its Content Agreement with ABS-CBN, effective January 2, 2026. ABS-CBN confirmed that it has fulfilled its obligations with TV5/MediaQuest as stipulated in their prior arrangements.
“We thank Mr. Manny V. Pangilinan and TV5 for providing a home for some ABS-CBN programs since 2021,” the Kapamilya network said in a statement.

AMBS, which has partnered with ABS-CBN since 2024, has previously aired selected programs, including classic Kapamilya shows under the Jeepney TV brand, as well as It’s Showtime and TV Patrol.
In the statement, ABS-CBN also underscored its commitment to delivering stories, news, and entertainment that resonate with Filipino families. “We remain committed to serving our audiences by bringing stories, news, and entertainment that bring love, joy, and hope to Filipino families,” it said.
This new agreement represents another milestone in ABS-CBN’s ongoing efforts to expand its reach across multiple platforms, ensuring viewers can continue enjoying their favorite programs despite shifts in broadcast partnerships.
In a previous report, ABS-CBN released a statement addressing reports that TV5 planned to end their content partnership over alleged unpaid dues. The network said the claims were disputed and that they had been working to meet their obligations despite financial struggles caused by their 2020 franchise loss. They emphasized that any payment delays were unintentional and resulted from revenue losses, and assured viewers they would continue finding ways to reach Filipino audiences.
The ABS-CBN Entertainment channel disappeared from YouTube in late November, displaying a message that it had been removed for violating Community Guidelines. Kapamilya shows explained that the channel was temporarily inaccessible and that livestreams had been moved to other official channels. Social media reported that unauthorized Bitcoin-related content had been posted before the channel was disabled. Fans remain hopeful that it will soon return to normal operation.
