Singer Darren Espanto recently had an interview with ABS-CBN News after being introduced as a new regular host on the noontime program "It's Showtime." The announcement took place during the contract signing of "It's Showtime" on its new home network, GMA.

Expressing his excitement, Darren shared, "Sobra ‘yung hard launch ko. Dito pa talaga sa GMA network so ayun, nakakakilabot." He emphasized the significance of officially becoming part of the "Showtime" family and the sense of belonging it brings.

Darren said: “It’s official, I’m part of the ‘Showtime’ family na talaga… so wala nang atrasan ito, totoo na siya.
“Very welcoming naman po sila. Hindi po nila pinaparamdam sa akin na dapat kinakabahan ako dapat ganito ‘yung pag-host. They just let me do my thing and even off-cam, parang pamilya lang din that’s why it was easier for me to be able to connect with them and jive with them.

"It's Showtime" is a Filipino noontime show comprised of well-known celebrities in the Philippines, namely, Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Ryan Bang, Karylle and many more.

Days ago, “It’s Showtime” social media pages shared a teaser that caught the attention of many. It shows an art card containing the program’s “I-T-S” trademark along with a heart graphic. It also has a caption that reads, “Good news, Madlang People! ABANGAN!” The post then made numerous netizens, especially the noontime show’s fans, excited.

Yesterday, “It’s Showtime” hosts received a warm welcome at the GMA Network Center. ABS-CBN News posted a video of the hosts arriving at the headquarters of the Kapuso network. In the video, Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, Vhong Navarro, and their co-hosts could be seen being greeted by GMA employees. The said hosts are at the GMA studios as Kapuso and Kapamilya executives formalize their deal on airing “It’s Showtime” on GMA’s main channel.
