However, GMA Network swiftly responded, releasing a statement from Rio herself to debunk these accusations and provide clarity on the situation.

Rio confirmed that the emotional intensity of the scenes she had just filmed had left her struggling to let go of her emotions, denying that she was in distress because of an asthma attack. She emphasized that both her co-stars and the production crew showed genuine concern for her well-being throughout the filming process.

Furthermore, Rio clarified that there were indeed medics present at the scene, ready to assist if needed. With this statement, Rio sought to reassure fans and dispel any misconceptions surrounding the incident.
